Seachd, The Inaccessible Pinnacle, strikingly shot on the Isle of Skye, is the first feature film to be told entirely in Gaelic.
It tells the story of a young man seeking the truth of his parents’ death and his grandfather’s fear filled tales of the past; stories from the whole swathe of Gaelic history of poisoned lovers, bloody revenge, water-horses and Spanish gold.
His quest leads him to the summit of one of Scotland’s most dangerous mountains, The Inaccessible Pinnacle, and an ancient truth he never expected to find.
See Seachd at Eden Court from 21 - 31 December 2007.
