Cllr Sandy Park
The Highland Council

Sandy Park was first elected as local member (Independent) for Auldearn in 1995 as part of the Shadow Council and then The Highland Council.  He was elected Convener of The Highland Council in 2007.  Previously he was chairman of the Council's Planning, Development, Europe & Tourism Committee, chairman of Highland Opportunity and Provost of Nairn for eight years. Sandy also serves on the Cairngorms National Park Authority Board.
