Leslie Evans is Director of Europe, External Affairs and Culture in The Scottish Government.

Leslie’s previous posting in The Scottish Government include responsibility for the financing and policy for Scotland’s local government (including distributing £8 billion funding, electoral reform and council tax), Executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies, and the Government’s reform agenda.

Prior to joining The Scottish Government, Leslie spent 20 years working for urban and rural local authorities in England and Scotland. This experience in public service delivery, corporate and strategic management aspects of local government has proved invaluable during her time in The Scottish Government.
