Highland Council Countryside Rangers run many guided walks and events throughout the year.

These walks and events take place across the Highlands and aim to help raise awareness and encourage appreciation of the scenery, wildlife and heritage of the Highlands.

The three event programmes up to December 2007 covering the Highlands are split into the following areas:

• Ranger Guided walks and events in Caithness and Sutherland 2007
• Ranger Guided Walks and Events in Ross and Cromarty and Inverness 2007
• Ranger Guided Walks and Events in Skye and Lochalsh and Lochaber 200
