In addition to the revenue contributions to Highland 2007 by its three member organisations, each organisation has committed funding to support capital developments that will contribute significantly to ‘Scotland’s Year of Highland Culture’.  The capital programme is managed independently of Highland 2007 by each individual organisation.
 

The following projects will form an integral part of the year of celebrations

  • Fas, Sabhal Mor Ostaig
  • Thurso Town Hall
  • Caithness Sports Facilities
  • Lairg Auction Mart
  • Dornoch Sports Barn
  • Downhill Cycling World Cup
  • Inverness Museum and Art Gallery
  • Nairn Community Centre
  • Highland Folk Museum
  • Highland Archive Network

The Highland Council has also allocated Capital Grants to be awarded through the Community Programme in The Highland Council area.  This funding is to assist capital projects targeted at infrastructure developments that will support the Highland 2007 programme of celebrations.
