Badenoch meets Cape Breton

Homecoming Scotland 2009 Press release - The launch of a new £1 million funding programme to help organisations to stage events to support a year-long celebration of Scotland’s culture and heritage was announced today, Monday 26th November 2007 . The funding programme launched by Homecoming Scotland, a Scottish Government initiative, aims to encourage Scots and people of Scottish descent to come home to Scotland in 2009.

Sea Cromarty Sparkle Press Release - The 'Sea Cromarty Sparkle' Festival, which is now half-way through its winter programme of events, turns its attention to serious matters on St. Andrew's Night - Friday 30th November. Launch of Inverness Winter Festival

The Highland Council Press Release - Plans for the first Inverness Winter Festival – aimed at boosting trade for local businesses and putting the city on the Scottish winter festival calendar - were unveiled today (Thursday). The festival opens on Thursday 22 November with the switch on of the Christmas Lights and the opening of an artificial ice rink at Falcon Square and closes on Saturday 12 January, next year, with Highland Lights, the grand finale of Highland 2007, the year that Scotland celebrates Highland culture.

Whispers, cries and rebels – A Cromarty Drama
